Farmers Market

What better way to kick off the month of April than with the opening day of the Farmers Market in downtown Blacksburg? Spring Market will be open from 8AM to 2PM.

Art Walk Downtown Blacksburg

There’s nothing nicer than an evening stroll in downtown Blacksburg! Add in art galleries along the way and you’re all set for a delightful evening. Gallery spaces will participate in the Art Walk which is FREE and open to all.

The Big Event

The Big Event at Virginia Tech is an annual student-run community service event. Every spring, thousands of students, faculty, and staff come together to complete nearly one thousand community service projects throughout Blacksburg, Christiansburg and the New River Valley. In 2016, 9,200 volunteers completed 1,102 jobs.

We Remember

2017 marks the 10 year anniversary of the shootings at Virginia Tech that took the lives of 32 students and faculty. Day of Remembrance events are scheduled beginning April 14 through the 16th. Please explore the link below for the complete schedule.

 Relay for Life

The annual Virginia Tech Relay for Life fundraiser for the American Cancer Society begins at 5PM on April 21. Find a team, sign up or donate to support the fight against cancer. VTRelay.org

Hokies Spring Game 2017

The annual Maroon vs. Orange football game is a tradition at Virginia Tech. What a great way to kick off spring training than a friendly offense against defense competition. The event is free. Let’s Go Hokies!
